In 2008, Mr. Bonet participated in a Student Exchange Program specialized in Asian Commerce at the University of Communication in Beijing, China. He has over 14 years of professional experience in a wide array of capacities in both public and private sectors. His areas of expertise include international business development, tourism, technology, financial services, among others. Mr. Bonet has developed several business initiatives focusing on the Caribbean and the Latin American markets. Within the public sector, he has occupied several executive level positions within the Puerto Rico Tourism Company and the Department of Economic Development and Commerce.

Carlos has over 20 years of experience in the private sector in business development and project management with a specialty in international business development. He has an established network of B2B contacts in the Caribbean, LATAM and parts of Europe. Throughout his career he has been able to assist clients in the Food & Beverage sector; Manufacturing, and Service sectors develop and execute their strategic objectives and their expansion into new markets.
Our Accomplishments
Accomplishments- Counseled and guided various major tourism development projects gaining more than $600 million in tax exemptions and credits under the Tourism Development Act.
- Successfully obtained tax incentives decrees for 100% of our qualified clients under Act 20-2012 (Export of Services), Act 22-2012 (Individual Investors), Act 74-2010 (Tourism Development), Act 73-2008 (Economic Development Act-Manufacture), Act 14-2017(Medical Professionals) and Opportunity Zones.
- Successfully obtained tax credits certifications (decrees) for tourism projects amounting $53 million under under various Act 60-2019 incentives.
- Counseled leading health care provider under the Medicare Advantage segment in Puerto Rico on tax incentives and federal aid assistance. Developed the first "one stop shop" for the provider which resulted in advising more than 4K providers on tax matters, incentives and available federal aid programs.
- Led in the planning, supervision, and performance of over $30M in federal grants audits. Ascertaining compliance with procedures petitioned by the Office of Federal Affairs at Puerto Rico’s Dept. of Education.
